| The Artists in Schools program offers visual and performing arts residencies that engage and educate the whole child. Youth in Arts works with schools to create custom-designed programs that help classroom teachers address the California state content standards in Visual and Performing Arts. The federal No Child Left Behind Act has reaffirmed the arts as a “core academic subject” all schools should teach. The Artists in Schools program helps schools achieve their arts education goals.
