Third-grader Amber Brown is having the worst year of her life.  Her best friend Justin is moving away, and despite her schemes, Amber doesn’t seem to be able to stop him!  Based on the book by children’s author Paula Danzinger, ArtsPower’s musical production combines lively humor with lessons about patience and the enduring nature of friendship.

ArtsPower is one of America’s preeminent nonprofit producers and presenters of professional, Actors' Equity Association theatre for young and family audiences. ArtsPower has created 24 original musicals and dramas, many of which are based on highly-respected books for young readers, and has performed in more than 350 regional theatres, cultural centers, and university auditoriums throughout America including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC; New York City’s Lincoln Center and the Annenberg Center for the Arts in Philadelphia.
