Lunatique Fantastique makes magic out of cellophane and ribbon in a detective story like nothing you’ve seen before.  Featuring found object puppetry—a unique style instilling everyday objects with movement and character—A Wrapping Paper Caper will charm and delight you.  Watch as Lunatique Fantastique transforms the trappings of the holiday season into a nondenominational madcap mystery comedy!

Artistic Director Liebe Wetzel and her ensemble release the beings inside "ordinary" objects. Wetzel is a graduate of the Dell Arte School of Physical Theatre, and has trained with Keith Johnstone at the Loose Moose Theatre in Canada. Since 2000, Lunatique Fantastique has created many award-winning productions, including a performance with the San Francisco Opera in 2005 and a U.K. tour. Wetzel has taught her unique puppetry style at Zeum, Cal Shakes' summer program and Sonoma State University.
